Hey. I hear a lot of medical questions from writers, everything from poisoning to stab wounds. What happens in an ER? (It's not pandemonium, and it takes longer than three minutes from door to surgery.) What does the heart look like in surgery? (A picture is worth a thousand words.) How can my character take out his own appendix? (Don't try it.) Seems like a bunch of writers want access to reliable information.
